If you are considering using Great Appliance, I strongly recommend going to the first page of these reviews and reading Steve's responses to common questions. They tell you EVERYTHING you need to know! He is 100% as advertised.
I submitted an inquiry through the Great Appliance Repair website on a Sunday at mid-afternoon with questions about three separate issues. He called me within 10 minutes. He told me exactly what he thought each repair would entail based on my description and we set an appointment for Monday morning.
When he arrived Steve looked at all three issues and advised me against doing anything with one of them because of the anticipated cost not being worth it. He fixed the second issue which was my dryer and advised me on how to better care for it to make it operate more efficiently. I mentioned that my washer shakes and hits the dryer hard enough to move it. He asked if he could look at it and immediately found a problem. He wasn't even here to fix that! He said it was a simple and inexpensive fix and that he had the part. He fixed it and then went on to take care of the third issue.
Later in the evening, I washed a Queen sized comforter and my family didn't notice that the washer was on. Being used to it sounding like a freight train, no one can believe how quiet it now runs!
Both of the repairs that he was originally contacted for were done perfectly and I've not had a minute of trouble with either of them.

I strongly recommend Steve. First time I have used him and it was a pleasant experience. He is very knowledgeable. Steve called back within 15 mins. from my first call. He worked me in the very next morning and found the solution to my refrigerator's problem. I will call Great Appliance Repair again.
